Signing methods

At Oneflow, we provide four signing methods for your contracts:

  • Standard e-signature
  • SMS-verification 
  • BankID
  • Manual signing

Standard e-signature

Standard e-signature is the default setting for Oneflow verification and signing. When you click Send in a contract, your counterparty receives an e-mail with a unique secure link to the contract. You can sign the contract from the application using the Sign button.

SMS-verification (admin rights needed)

If you select SMS as the signing method, your Signatory counterparties(s) will receive an SMS with a 6-digit code, and they will use it to confirm their identity when signing the contract.

Of course, this requires that you provide a recipient's phone number and that you have SMS enabled on your Oneflow account. Please, read more about enabling SMS here.

BankID (admin rights needed)

Note:

The BankID signing method is only available for users with Swedish, Norweigan, Danish, or Finnish bank accounts.

This method allows you and your counterparty to sign Oneflow contracts using BankID. Signing with BankID will cost 2 SEK per signature (in Sweden).

  1. Go to the Admin tab > Account > Extensions. 
  2. Scroll to Electronic IDs and make sure it's enabled. Then you can choose which BankID(s) you want to activate.

Manual signing

Oneflow does offer manual signing, and you may still use the benefits of the Oneflow archive and contract life cycles.

Note:

It is important to remember that the system will not generate legally binding electronic signatures for the contract.


To sign your contract manually:

  1. Go to your contract, click the three dots menu in the top-right corner > Mark as signed.
