Managing SMS Notifications

Under Marketplace > SMS you can customize which notifications are sent via SMS. Two standard notifications, which cannot be disabled, are the following:

  • Invitation to a Document: You will receive an SMS notification when a counterparty has been invited to a document.
  • Signing Completion: An SMS alert will be sent when the signing process is successfully completed.

You can configure your SMS notifications to tailor your communication preferences.

Use SMS as two-factor authentication for documents

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an effective way to enhance the security of your documents. This method ensures that only authorized recipients can access the documents you send for signing.

As part of the two-step authentication process, the counterparty will be required to enter a security code to access the document. This security code can be delivered either via email or SMS, adding an extra layer of security to document access.

Use SMS as two-step authentication for logging in

Two-step authentication enhances the security of your login process. When you enable two-step authentication, you'll be required to enter a second password, often referred to as a security code, in addition to your regular login credentials. This extra layer of security helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
